Black, White and pretty butterflies!

Hi everyone! Its Ebony back again to share some layouts I have created featuring some gorgeousness from Lil Red Rocket.

This one is a photo of my daughter and her best friend from kinder. I love their facial expressions! Obviously giggling like little girls do and chatting away happily! I have created this layout using the challenge criteria over at "Scrap the girls" this month.  The Criteria is a recipe.

FLOWERS
TWO DIFFERENT ALPHAS
MORE THAN ONE PHOTO
STAPLES

LOVE this black and white button in the center of my rubon flower! It just adds that special extra something it needed!!!

I have also used another cute button on another challenge layout this month!
This is based on the October 15th sketch at "Stuck!".

                                                                       So adorable!!!

Hope you are all finding some time to enjoy some scrapping this month! See you next time, Eb x

Trying to catch up...

Hi everyone....thanks for dropping by today.
I have 4 projects to share today, as I have so many layouts where I've used LRR embellies, because I love using them so much.
So I hope my post won't be too long & you'll hang in there until the end...lol

Ok, I'll get right to it...

First up is something a little different for me....a card!

Using a sweet little LRR bird button <3 ....isn't it just gorgeous!

And now for a layout using the same MME papers...

And for this layout I've used an oh so super versatile green checkered button - I love these buttons!

Next up....Magical Memories

Using another checkered button....a pink one there in my cluster.

To tone down the colour of the button, to fit in with the rest of the colours of the layout, I simply gave the button a couple of coats of gesso...and presto it tones in perfectly :)

Now for a few masculine layouts......

For this one I've used one of the old vintage tags with a bicycle on it...along with some grey & white bakers twine that's simply wrapped around the bottom of the photo.

and lastly....

Using a cute LRR bug button :)

Well that's all from me folks, my apologies for the long post.
Thanks so much for dropping by....I hope everyone has a fabulous week!!
Until next time....happy scrapping! :)

03 October 2012

I'm late! I'm late....

for my UPDATE!

Helllooooo Everyone...... I know it's not just me.... is it REALLYYY October already?? Now I was supposed to upload LAST Monday but the days are flying past I just can't keep up.... doesn't help with school holidays as well! Hope everyone else is coping!!!

Anyway, being the start of October I thought I would share a layout that I have created for  the October 123 Challenge-

The criteria is quite simple this month - to use Bright Yellow Bus colour, the word MISS, and STRIPS of some kind...

I have used Lil Red Rocket Black & White Twine....

which I have swirled around and then added flowers...
you may even spot a Lil Red Rocket Vintage Girl Circle tag - isn't it cute?

and you will also see as usual a Lil Red Rocket Button too :)

I hope you like and give it a go - Lil Red Rocket is a regular donator to the 123 Challenge Blog - which I really appreciate!

XO Happy Holidays!

Sharing some LRR

Hi everyone...Happy Friday!
It's Linda here to share some layouts using Lil' Red Rocket embellies.

My first layout I have used a sweet little Bird button...

 Isn't it just too cute!

Next is a layout using a red spotty button & some red & white twine...

both these items are so so versatile for any style of layout...

And lastly....using a LRR Die cut Butterfly & an adorable little frog button

I altered the colour of the butterfly (which was originally black)...by first coating it in gesso & then repainting it brown to tie in with the other colours in my layout.

Ok, that's it from me for now.
Thanks for dropping by today.....Happy scrapping & enjoy the rest of your day! xx
